For the first time, British curriculum exams held under Pearson Edexcel Board.

For the first time in Feni, the International Lower Secondary Examination under the British education curriculum has been successfully conducted at Hope International School, located on Pathanbari Road in Feni city.

A total of twenty-two students participated in this prestigious examination organized under the Pearson Edexcel board — the only internationally approved institution up to A-Level in the Comilla region operating under this curriculum.

The school’s Principal, Mr. Alamgir Kabir, visited the examination center on Tuesday (October 5), ensuring smooth conduct of the exam and motivating the students.

According to school authorities, Hope International School began its journey with the National Curriculum in 2020 and received approval for the British Curriculum (English Medium) in 2021. The institution has since been providing education in a peaceful, modern learning environment aimed at developing globally competent students.

During the examination, members of the Feni district police administration, education officers, journalists, guardians, and teachers extended their full cooperation to ensure discipline and fairness at the center.

Principal Alamgir Kabir said,

“Hope International School has proudly introduced a unique dual curriculum in Feni — combining the National Curriculum (English Version) with the Pearson Edexcel (UK) program up to O’ and A’ Levels. This marks a milestone for Feni and the greater Comilla region.”

He further added,

“By successfully hosting the Edexcel International Lower Secondary Examination, Hope International School has set a new benchmark for international-standard education in the region. This initiative not only enhances the institution’s reputation but also opens doors for students to excel globally.”

It is worth noting that several students from Hope International School are already pursuing higher education in Australia, Canada, and Malaysia, further reflecting the school’s growing international recognition and academic excellence.
